Rules and Regulations

Online Applications are invited from the candidates of all recognised Board / Council qualifying H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination for admission into the listed Under Graduate Courses for Admission. A candidate may be admitted to the first year of three year B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com (Honours & General) courses of studies on passing H.S. (10+2) examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by other State Board / Council fulfilment of the conditions mentioned below: Please see the list of Board or Council recognised by West Bengal State University before online application. Only the State & National Level Board in Regular Mode will be allowed to take admission in Honours courses. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 2 years from the year of passing (excluding the current year) the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular courses of study after passing the previous qualifying examination.

Application Procedure

Applicants are requested to first view the available Honours subjects and General Streams along with combination subjects and require minimum qualifications. Then check the application fees and course fees. For application, applicant have to register first with his or her Name, H.S. Registration No or H.S. Roll No., H.S. passing year, H.S. Board, his or her own valid mobile number, Date of Birth, Nationality, State. After Registration, applicant will receive a confirmation SMS along with the Application ID and Password in his/her registered mobile no. Applicant have to login with the provided application ID and Password. Applicant have to provide his personal details like guardian name, full address, category, etc. Applicant have to provide Academic details i.e, all marks obtained along with the H.S. subjects. After confirming the details, applicant have to pay the requisite application fess through either online or offline mode. After payment of application fees the final printout of the form can be taken after successfully uploading the self attested passport size photograph of applicant.

Following are the steps

STEP 1: Fill all Fields in On-Line Application Form sequentially

STEP 2: Record unique Application ID No which will be generated automatically after submission of the On-Line Application Form for future reference.

STEP 3: Print Bank Challan (Student and Bank copy) any one of the following Banks and Application Form (Student’s Copy) after submission of On-Line Application.

STEP 4: Application fees can be deposited through either online or offline mode.  In offline mode, deposit cash for each On-Line Application using only Printed Bank Challan at any branch of ICICI BANK or College cash counter.

Candidates are advised not to pay any cash to any individuals. All payments are to be made at College cash counter or any branches of ICICI Bank.
