2. ROLE OF THE LIBRARY SUB-COMMITTEE
Generally, the roles of the library sub-committee are as follows:
- Working as an advisory body and recommending body to the college authority like G.B.
- Making the rules and regulations of the college library
- Supervision of the accounts of the college library and approval of the financial requirements.
- Considering the planning, organizational procedures, development programmes, administrative measures and the like
- Selection of books, journals and other library materials.
- Consideration of any policy matter and taking any administrative decision related to library
- Recommend to the GB regarding all matters of the college library particularly financial requirement, future development programmes and major administrative decisions.
